Thrown on the wheel by Sam then hand-sculpted with a Pongo/NZ Native Silver Fern koru design, these bowls are the perfect kohanga (nest or cradle) for your balls of yarn.

Working through a yarn bowl keeps your yarn from bouncing, rolling, tangling and gathering dust from other household surfaces as you work your way through a project.

They beautify your creative space too.

The koru is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling pongo/silver fern frond. It is an integral symbol in Māori art, carving and tattooing, where it symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace.
